About LOYALTY Credit Union

When you join LOYALTY CU, you become a member of a not-for-profit financial institution whose primary mission is serving its members. LOYALTY CU serves Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Washington, Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Liberty, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson and Duval county citizens. With almost 100 years of consistent quality service, our Management Team and staff are constantly developing new ways to improve the financial stability of our members.

Unlike banks, whose primary goal is to earn profits for a few stockholders, we return our earnings to all members in the form of reduced interest rates on loans and higher yields on savings and investments.

LOYALTY Credit Union has been certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund).

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CDFI

Community Development Financial Institutions - or CDFIs - are mission-driven financial institutions that are dedicated to providing financial services to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged individuals within underserved communities. CDFIs invest in local communities and the residents who live there by utilizing resources from the CDFI Fund to provide low-income individuals with financial products and services often unavailable from mainstream financial institutions.
Certified CDFIs are part of a national network promoting economic growth in America’s underserved communities by financing businesses and rebuilding neighborhoods. CDFIs help start and expand businesses, create jobs, help families buy or renovate homes, while providing affordable financial services as an alternative to payday lenders and other predatory loan products. CDFIs also finance needed facilities and organizations that provide vital services to their communities. Specifically, to finance affordable housing, small businesses, schools, community facilities, health care centers, grocery stores and many other types of investments that spark growth in communities across America.
As a CDFI, LOYALTY CU puts the community first and values local, economic growth, and is dedicated to serving the residents and businesses of our communities that historically lack access to financial services to encourage our community to participate in the mainstream economy.

Membership

To establish your membership with LOYALTY CU, apply online or stop by any of our branch locations to complete a brief membership application. Bring in your Driver’s License or other government-issued picture ID, proof of your Social Security number, and $5.00 to deposit in your savings account.

Community Involvement

LOYALTY Credit Union is comprised of dedicated employees who strive to make a difference in our communities. The objective is to provide financial and/or volunteer-hour assistance to individuals and community organizations who demonstrate the need for such assistance.

Yearly LOYALTY CU supports numerous Pensacola, Panama City and Tallahassee area organizations with sponsorships, monetary donations, volunteer hours, and/or financial education. We look forward to continuing our community service involvement in future years.
